CranioSacral Therapy
The most complete definition I have come across is “the healing power of a gentle touch”.
"Kate is probably the most accomplished Craniosacral therapist that I have ever come across."

Craniosacral therapy is a highly effective light-touch therapy that works with the whole body and the source of pain and dysfunction simultaneously. With CST and given proper support, the body will heal itself, creating a custom solution to any problem that is causing discomfort.

Therapists place their hands over the area of the body that is most related to the source of the problem and they are trained to feel and monitor changes in the body’s tissues. In the process of monitoring, therapists' hands follow changes in the client’s body as it occurs rather than making the decision to move a person’s body in any given direction.

This is the principal difference between CST and most other therapeutic types of bodywork.
Examples of what CST can help:
-
Chronic back and neck pain
-
Headache and migraine
-
TMJ dysfunction, jaw and dental pain
-
Stress and tension related problems
-
Developmental disabilities including
-
Cerebral Palsy
-

-
Hearing difficulties, including tinnitus
-
Post surgical recovery
