Yet more changes!

As I sit down to write this blog, I am reflecting on the amount of rapid change in my life. Particularly over these last eighteen months, the changes feel like they occur on an almost daily basis. Adapting to this way of life has been challenging and grown me in all sorts of different ways. I have a feeling many of you can relate to this. I asked my good friend and talented photographer Anna Vickroy to capture this photo of me during this transformative time.

As a family, we made the very difficult decision to postpone our planned trip to the UK in July. With many restrictions still in place, including the need to quarantine, we decided this wasn’t the right time. Being away from our families for so long has been hard.

However, one silver lining for me is that I am now able to go to the Bahamas and work as a therapist at the Dolphin Assisted Therapy Intensive Program. Those of you who have been reading my blogs for a while know how much I love this work. I will be posting photos on my Instagram if you would like to follow me there virtually!

Our home let out a collective sigh of relief when the school year was over; I was beginning to think it would never end! We are hoping that the upcoming school year beginning in August will be more or less back to normal. Anticipating this next change of not having the children home 24/7 has had me thinking about what this will be like for me.

A key foundation that has supported me throughout all of these changes has been my friendships and being able to safely get together throughout the pandemic (because we are creative and adaptive creatures!). There is something unique about gathering in a group to connect in a deeply meaningful way. Please join me on July 3 at 9 am PST if you would like to experience a supportive group experience. I will be holding an Introduction to Mapping Out Your Intentional Life. It's free!

I would love to hear from you about what changes and transformations you have been experiencing.
